Every day, we deliver organic produce, chef-inspired and scratch-prepared foods, bespoke meats and more to Greater Toronto Area families. We farm at Downsview Park, where we also run a farmer incubator program.

We are hiring part-time delivery drivers for our 19 Waterman Avenue location (East York).

What you will do:

• As a driver, you are the face of our company to our customers. You will have the unique pleasure of delivering baskets of curated organic produce to homes and apartments around the GTA. This is challenging work, but a great position for the right candidate. Read on to find out if you’re a good fit.
• Follow the most convenient suggested routes for delivery
• Deliver customer food orders to multiple addresses throughout the GTA as assigned.
• Safe, timely loading, transportation and delivery of goods to clients or businesses.
• The weight capacity of food orders varies (approximately 10-40 pounds per bin).
• Inspect, operate and maintain the vehicle and its cleanliness.

What you bring to the table:

• Passionate about our mission to build a better local food community
• Valid driver’s license (regular G class license) and excellent driving record (clean driver’s abstract) Able to work at constant fast speeds without supervision
• Have previous delivery driver experience
• Stay physically fit and enjoy being active
• Ability to lift 10 – 40 pound bins (filled with delicious organic produce)
• Self-directed: Able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision (and within time constraints).
• Detail-oriented
• Always reliable and punctual
• Interest/knowledge of food is an asset
• Positive, proactive and enjoy challenges
• Get along well with everyone

Hours:
Starting time is usually noon (which varies from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm depending on the time of year and day). Our drivers usually finish around 9-9:30pm (deliveries usually before 8pm). Weekends may also be required.
Scheduling is subject to operational requirements and subject to change
