What you need to be successful as a pharmacy assistant:

• No experience in pharmacy is required
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to perform maneuvers quickly and consistently over long periods of time
• To be adaptable – you can work in different departments to support the workflow
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions

As a Pharmacy Assistant you will learn the following duties and may support in other areas as required.

• Shipping
• Follow the step-by-step workflow process to prepare packages for shipment
• Working with a team, you will use an automated process to package orders for nursing homes and prepare them for delivery
• Investigate and trouble shoot orders to ensure they are dispatched on time

Any or all of the following are preferred to help you stand out

• High School Diploma
• Kroll software experience
• Pharmacy experience with long-term care
